α-地中海贫血/精神发育迟滞综合征蛋白与中枢神经系统胶质瘤的相关性分析

摘要:
目的探讨X连锁α-地中海贫血/精神发育迟滞综合征蛋白(ATRX)在中枢神经系统胶质瘤中的表达及意义。方法选取2013年2月至2015年2月我院病理科保存的97例中枢神经系统胶质瘤组织标本,其中星形胶质细胞瘤52例,少突胶质细胞瘤24例,胶质母细胞瘤21例,采用免疫组织化学法检测ATRX表达。结果星形胶质细胞瘤组织中ATRX蛋白阳性表达率为19.23%,明显低于少突胶质细胞瘤和胶质细胞瘤组织,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。ATRX蛋白阳性表达与与星形胶质细胞瘤患者年龄、性别、肿瘤部位及WHO分级无明显关系(P>0.05)。星形胶质细胞瘤ATRX阳性表达患者中位生存时间为24.67个月[95%CI(21.74,27.60)],ATRX阴性表达患者中位生存时间为18.68个月[95%CI(16.32,21.04)],差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论 ATRX在星形胶质细胞瘤呈低表达,同时与星形胶质细胞瘤患者预后有一定关系,值得进一步研究。

Abstract:
Objective To investigate the expression and significance of X-linked alpha-thalassemia/mental retardation syndrome( ATRX) protein in central nervous system gliomas. Methods 97 cases of glioma tissue specimens from central nervous system collectedin pathology department in our hospital from February 2013 to February 2015,including 52 cases of astrocytoma,24 cases of oligodendroglioma,21 cases of glioblastoma,were detected of ATRX expression using immunohistochemistry. Results The positive expression rate of ATRX protein in astrocytoma was 19. 23%,which was significantly lower than that in oligodendroglioma and glioblastoma( P<0. 05).The positive expression of ATRX protein was not significantly correlated with age,sex,tumor location and WHO grade( P>0. 05) in patients with astrocytoma. The median survival time of astrocytoma patients with ATRX positive expression was 24. 67 months[95% CI( 21. 74,27. 60) ]and the median survival time of astrocytoma patients with ATRX negative expression was 18. 68 months[95% CI( 16. 32,21. 04) ]. The difference was statistically significant( P< 0. 05). Conclusion The expression of ATRX is lower in astrocytoma and has a certain relationship with the prognosis of patients with astrocytoma which is worthy of further study
